Winter in Golant

Messy curls and braids squashed under a beret, a snug warm coat, a good pair of boots and it's time for a stroll to the church to look out over the estuary and then down the steep, icy hill to look for wading birds on the river at low tide. A cup of ginger tea to warm up flushed cheeks and there you officially have a lovely day off.

Knitting models always seem to be more natural and interesting looking than high fashion models. I love the Winter Drift model's messy, romantic hair. One day, one day. I've got a lot of practicing to do.

Rose

The garden in The Ballad of Jack and Rose is my first love. The flowers, vegetables, Rose's tree house and the river are aesthetically gorgeous. 

Her dress and jumper/cardigan look is a familiar one, the one i feel most comfortable and natural in. She has the perfect down time wardrobe.
